I film the job I like

Je filme le métier qui me plaît

When we are young, it is always tough to have a clear idea of what we want to do later. The competition “I film the job I like”, dedicated to 14-20 year old, offers an original way to discover the working world: the shooting of a video.

Along with a teacher acting as coordinator, high school students may. The best movie shot on the job of their choice is rewarded. Candidates lacking inspiration can draw on the call for projects launched on the website.

It has been already 5 years since this competition, organized by leCanaldeMetiers.tv, has been created. Last year, not less than 9000 “budding filmmakers” proposed 308 videos. Each year, a prestigious jury deliberates and rewards the laureates during an official awards ceremony held in May.

The 2011 competition has rewarded the Cros Colbert school, from Sablé sur Sarthe (72), for their clip titled « ES versus S » (Economic Science versus Science curricula).

An attractive way to raise awareness to the culture of the business world. A partner of the event, the French Ministry of Education encourages participation in this competition with educational purposes.

Registration for the 2012 session begins September 16th. More information on the website
