The Banque de France is one of the ‘Major Partners’ of the ‘Journées de l’économie’ (Jéco), which held for the fourth time in Lyon, from November 9th to November 11th 2011. The main aim of the Jéco is to increase the public’s awareness of economic matters, which are essential to understand the society we live in. With similar educational purposes, the Cité de l’économie et de la monnaie was present at the Jéco 2011.
Conferences, debates, documentaries, economics-related book fairs: the Jéco 2011 had a complete program for these three days dedicated to economics. The Cité de l’économie et de la monnaie was presented during the workshop on « Internet resources on economics for teachers and their students ».
