The Association Française de Science Économique (AFSE) proposes a blog, developed thanks to a partnership with LeMonde.fr and the Journées de l’économie, which enables visitors to get a closer look at the candidates’ economic programs.
A questionnaire has been sent to the candidates on the economic, financial and fiscal measures they intend to put in place during their mandate. The main aim of this questionnaire is to present the information in a concise and precise way.
With this initiative, the AFSE, which is an apolitical association, tries to raise voters’ awareness regarding the economic subjects of the electoral programs. The candidates’ answers are published on the association’s blog and on the website leMonde.fr.
The economist members of the AFSE are invited to publish their reactions. Videos of conferences linked to the theme of the elections are also published online.
